Working as a photographer gives me the opportunity to work with a variety of different people, with different themes and ideas. One thing I really wanted to photography was a Christmas themed wedding. This is how the styled shoot came to be. I quickly found a group of other creative wedding suppliers who were also interested in working on a Christmas themed wedding.

Our venue Moore Place provided the perfect setting. Nestled in Aspley Guise, you cannot help but be impressed as you arrive, with the buildings impressive frontage. The internals of the venue are equally as impressive having recently been refurbished it is the perfect venue for a wedding.

As a group of suppliers, we decided to go with a very traditional Christmas feel. Which is reflected in the details of the styled shoot. We sourced holly and ivy from the local area to decorate the venue. Pine cones were provided by The Flower Hut, whose bouquets were stunning and fitted perfectly with the theme. The chair ties and napkins were burgundy to coordinate with the Christmas Wedding colour scheme.

The wedding cake was absolutely stunning, provided by the incredibly talented Sara of Amara Cake Boutique. She took on the Christmas Wedding theme and embraced it in her design. The detailing was outstanding, even down to shading the petals to give them depth. Her work is intricate and needs to be seen to be believed.

The lovely Mel from Bridal Reloved Leicester providing the wedding dress, shoes and hair vine used in the shoot. I always send my brides to Mel as she’s so friendly I know she will always look after any bride I send to her because she honestly cares that you’re happy with your dress.

The stationary was also designed with the theme in mind, and Lorna of Lorna Boyer Design also came up with the wedding monogram design which you see throughout the styled shoot.

Our bride was beautified by the duo of Lu Faragher Makeup Artist and Hair by Megan. Who worked together to create a look which really enhanced our bride’s features without overpowering her. The result was stunning.

The Ivy Cottage provided the beautiful signs you can see throughout the shoot. Hand-painted and fully customisable we were all impressed with how sturdy they were.

I always love details so when Pretty Little Treat Co joined the team I was really excited. Her bath bomb wedding favors smelt amazing, I’m sure guests would be pleased to receive these at a wedding.

Styled shoots are a fun way for wedding suppliers to get together and show clients what we can do if given the opportunity. We love to use them to our inspire brides.
