As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of documenting love stories in various settings, but there’s something truly enchanting about photographing weddings at Chicheley Hall in Milton Keynes. This historic mansion and its picturesque surroundings offer a unique backdrop that makes every wedding a truly magical experience. In this blog post, I’ll share with you why I love photographing weddings at Chicheley Hall and what makes this venue so special.

  1. Timeless Elegance

Chicheley Hall is a stunning Grade I listed mansion that dates back to the 18th century. It gives you a grand setting for your wedding day, with it’s stunning exterior as you drive up towards the main building really setting the scene for you and your wedding guest’s. Your grand entrance to your wedding ceremony can be down the large staircase which leads straight into the room where your wedding ceremony and meal will take place.

  1. Versatile Backdrops

Chicheley Hall is a wedding venue that can be adapted to your personal wedding ideas. You can have an indoor or outdoor ceremony, set up a marque if you need extra space for your meal or change the rooms you use for the evening parts of your day. The venue’s gardens have been carefully planned and maintained to be beautiful all year round, meaning spring through to winter your wedding will have stunning outdoor scenery to enjoy. The venue is able to cater to weddings of various sizes from small and intimate to larger celebrations with all your loved ones.

  1. Abundant Natural Light

Chicheley Hall is blessed with plenty of windows allowing natural light to flow through the venue. This means your photos throughout the day will be well lit with soft flattering light. This means we can be really creative with your couple’s photos to create some different looks throughout the day.

  1. Serene Surroundings

Chicheley Hall is nestled within 80 acres of parkland, offering couples and their guests plenty of space to explore. For couple’s portraits, we can take you for a quiet walk, taking a few moments for you to enjoy some time alone. We can explore the gardens and lake while stopping to take a few intimate photos for you.
