When I photograph a wedding no two are the same, I always look for opportunities to reflect you as a couple. To use the location and venue to maximize creative opportunities. Even at venues I know well I don’t just work through the same photos and poses each time. I want your final album to be unique and to reflect you as a couple, so I treat each wedding with this in mind. Discussing ideas with you to ensure your final visonis created.
Your wedding day is important to me, I only book one wedding a day, ensuring there is never any clash and I am on hand to cover all your special moments. My preparations for your day start long beforehand. We’ll have a consultation to discuss your day, the type of photos you want and key moments which are important on your day. As your wedding day grows closer we’ll create a plan for your day. Outlining all the group phots and timeline of your day. I love to hear about your wedding plans and am only ever a phone call away if you want to discuss anything. many of my brides send me photo’s of their wedding dress and other details, I love this, that they trut me and feel comfortable enough with me to share this with me.
Your wedding album will become a family heirloom. Something that you can show to your friends and family after your wedding and enjoy for years to come after your wedding. It’s something future generations will in your family will enjoy exploring and reliving the story of your day. I create bespoke albums of your day, ranging from 20-80 pages, to display your wedding photos in a stunning format.
I won’t ask you to design your album alone. It’s daunting when faced with your wedding gallery and having to pick your photos for your wedding album. Instead, I will prepare the first draft for you which you will receive alongside your wedding gallery. You will then have the opportunity to visit me and we will adjust your wedding album until you are happy with the final outcome. Only then will I place the order.

Choosing your wedding photographer is a big decision. You want someone you are comfortable with and who will fit into your day. It is something that requires careful thought and consideration. You want someone who is professional, creative and who you can trust to look after you on your wedding day.
Finding your wedding photographer
There are many ways to start your search for a wedding photographer. Looking online, asking for recommendations and visiting wedding fayres are a few. Whichever method or methods you use make a short list of your favorites and arrange to meet them. Why meet them you might ask. Simply because of all your wedding suppliers, you will spend a lot of time with your photographer. If your personalities don’t quite blend that’s a long time to spend with them. You want to feel comfortable with your wedding photographer, if you are not this will show in your wedding photos. Meeting them is also a perfect way to ask questions. I encourage everyone who enquires to meet me, even if they already know they want to book me before meeting.
Our first meeting
I offer a no obligation wedding photography consultation. This can be at your wedding venue or we can find a convenient midway point for us to meet at. You can contact me by phone, email or messenger to check my availability on your wedding date and arrange a consultation. This meeting will let us all decide if we’re the right fit for your wedding day. You can ask as many questions as you like and I will have plenty of questions for you as well about your wedding day and your wedding photography needs. You can look through my previous work and see examples of wedding albums. I don’t put pressure on you to book me, I encourage you to meet other photographers so that you can make an informed decision. I do hope that after meeting me and discussing your plans for your wedding you’ll want to book me to photograph your wedding.
How to book me as your wedding photographer
After our initial meeting to discuss your wedding photography it is a simple process to book me for your wedding photography. You will need to pay your non-refundable booking fee of £200 and return your completed contract. Once this is complete you can relax knowing your wedding photographer is booked and your wedding photography is in safe hands. I only book one wedding a day and take no other work on that day meaning I will be 100% focused on you and your wedding.
Pre-wedding shoot
If you decide to book a pre-wedding shoot we will discuss potential locations for this to take place. This can be at your wedding venue or any of the stunnin glocations available to use in and around Bedford. The shoot is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and I can help you to learn to relax in front of the camera. For many people this will be the first time they will have had professional photos taken. It can be a bit daunting. So I will help you relax and we’ll work together to find the style of photography you like. Meaning come your wedding day you will be used to having your photo taken and relaxed with the camera.
Planning
Around a month before your wedding day I will be in contact to discuss the details of your big day. We’ll run through the details of your day including the timings, key people in your day, your group photos and any other must have photos you would like me to photograph on your wedding day. Remember if you don’t tell me something is going to happen, I can’t be prepared. I also encourage you to show me photograph’s you love. Share your Pinterest boards with me, we can discuss these and what is feasible without taking up to much of your time on your wedding day.
You’re wedding day
On your wedding day I will arrive early at your Northampton wedding venue and photograph your day from preparations through to the first dance, plus twilight photos if this is included in your package. I will capture a mixture of relaxed and posed photographs as well all the action and little details of your day. I work in a friendly and unobtrusive manner ensuring you and your guests are relaxed and comfortable with me. You can rest assured I will be dressed professionally in smart business attire so that I blend in more easily with your guests. It is your wedding after all and I dress accordingly.
After your wedding
I will save your images in several places for safe keeping before starting the process of carefully editing them ready for you to view 4-6 weeks later. I know this can feel like a long time so I always provide you with a social media sneak peek of a selection of your images.
You’re Wedding Album
Most of my wedding photography packages include a wedding album. Once your wedding photos are ready for viewing I will create a first draft of your wedding album for you to review. You can adjust this album design as much as you like. I have found giving you an initial layout helps as it can be quite daunting if you are asked to select a number of images with no guidance or idea of how they would look together in your wedding album. I also offer the opportunity to meet with me and we can sit down and design your wedding album together. It’s your album and I want you to be happy with it. After all it will be something you show your family and friends and will become a family heirloom. Once the design is complete I will order your wedding album. When it arrives I will check your wedding album and then contact you to arrange delivery or collection.
